Our oil and gas client is searching for an Accounting Analyst to join their team!
Description:
- Final fixed assets creation and depreciation calculations in accordance to accounting policy
- Asset transfers, retirements, and other fixed asset transactions
- Capital project monitoring, reporting, and settlement errors
- Income Statement and Balance Sheet variance analysis and support (relating to Fixed Assets)
- Account reconciliations
- Fixed asset verifications in conjunction with business units
- Regulatory reporting
- Audit/property tax/federal tax/legal/FERC/Govt special requests
- Other Fixed Assets responsibilities, as needed
Preferred
- Finance or Accounting Degree
- Strong financial, analytical and computer skills
- Proficient in Excel
- SAP knowledge
