Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Process invoices, track expenses, and ensure timely payments to vendors and suppliers.
  • Handle payroll processing and maintain employee records, including taxes and deductions.
  • Utilize financial software, including QuickBooks and Excel, to accurately record and reconcile financial transactions.
  • Prepare and distribute financial statements, reports, and summaries regularly to aid in decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to assist in budgeting and financial forecasting.
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax documents and collaborate with external tax professionals.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive financial information.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and external stakeholders to resolve financial queries.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role, demonstrating proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and bookkeeping best practices.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and financial record keeping.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with colleagues and external partners.
  • Familiarity with tax regulations and preparation processes is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks efficiently.
  • High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential financial information.
