Job Description

SpringPoint/Hummingbird.tech is looking for a Client Engagement Manager to join our Managed Services team. This person will need to act as an escalation point, advocate for their clients, meet with them on a regular cadence, and present recommendations of technologies or tools they should implement. This person will work closely with IT leaders and Project Managers to help with road mapping and strategy sessions regarding their client’s needs. The ideal candidate will help identify business opportunities for the company's growth, meet client demands, and solve account project discrepancies. 

  • Duties
    • Manage and foster client relationships
    • Become the internal advocate for assigned clients
    • Develop a working knowledge of client IT footprint and client business including basic understanding of industry
    • Create and present recommendations for client to mitigate risk or future proof their business
    • Communicate clearly and concisely in a compelling way
    • Conduct tough conversations as needed to de-escalate client issues
    • Engage in fun and creative ways to foster long term and meaningful client relationships
    • Quick learner and eager to adopt processes and tools to complete assignments
    • Familiarity using a ticketing system for client issues
    • Create project quotes in available quoting tool
    • Draft Scope of Work documents to present project proposals accurately and effectively
    • Project Sales with client accounts assigned
    • Serve as an escalation point for client grievances
    • Collaborate with teammates to provide value add ideas to client accounts assigned
    • Unafraid to research solutions for clients and the Hummingbird.tech Team
    • Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams for troubleshooting (Think SWATs for client accounts assigned
  • Conceptual understanding the following technology topics
    • physical and virtual server configuration
    • Hyper-V
    • VMware
    • What a firewall is/does
    • What a network switch is/does
    • What a wireless access point is/does
    • A working understanding of Microsoft 365 licensing
    • A working understanding of Microsoft server licensing
    • MFA
